Nano Fucoidan Extract

Nano Fucoidan Extract is a fucoidan product containing high levels of Okinawa fucoidan extract in a nanocapsule form. We (Kanehide Bio Co., Ltd.) transformed the ingredients into a nanocapsule form that is easily swallowed and powerful enough that a small serving size is plenty. This product is an example of how we have utilized nanotechnology to create a fucoidan product that is small, but powerful, and easy to swallow. One individual serving (2 grams) contains 0.6 grams of fucoidan. 0.6 grams of nano-fucoidan equals to 3 grams of the conventional fucoidan in terms of efficiency. This product contains a total of 36 grams of nano-fucoidan. Fucoidan, found in brown seaweeds, in its natural form is high-molecular weight, which impedes its absorption by our bodies because a large portion of it is treated as plant fiber inside our intestines. By turning fucoidan to the low-molecular weight form (nano-form), its absorbability increases several times. We (Kanehide Bio Co., Ltd.) used 100% Okinawa mozuku brown seaweed extract to make this product. Mozuku seaweed grown in the waters surrounding Okinawa absorbs plentiful minerals of the seawater and grows to be thicker than other forms of mozuku varieties.

Fucoidan, currently garnering attention for its health benefits is a useful component found in seaweeds. Compared with other types of mozuku, Okinawa mozuku, exposed to the abundant sunlight in Okinawa, is exceptionally rich in fucoidan. But what exactly is Fucoidan? Fucoidan, in addition to alginic acid and laminin (glycoprotein), is one of the components found in mozuku, kombu, wakame, and other brown seaweeds that give them a glutinous characteristic. As introduced on a variety of (Japanese) television programs, fucoidan has gained fame for having a variety of health effects, such as anti-tumor effect. Fucoidan is found in many different varieties of seaweed. However, compared to Okinawa mozuku, other varieties of seaweed have a lower fucoidan content and the extraction process is very complicated. Fucoidan composes 90% of the polysaccharides found in Okinawa mozuku and pure fucoidan can easily be extracted and created from it.

Also, more than 90% of the mozuku grown in Japan is from Okinawa Prefecture, so we can use high-quality mineral rich mozuku in its pure form. In cooperation with The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology—an independent administrative institution located in Tsukuba, Tokyo, Kanehide Co., Ltd has utilized the nanotechnology employed in a variety of different fields, and implemented it to successfully create a nano sized capsule fucoidan product. Using original nanotechnology, we have created a superfine nanocapsule fucoidan product. The prefix "nano" is a unit of length measurement equal to 0.000,000,001 meters, and is also used to represent miniscule things. This product contains no artificial colors or scents, or preservatives. Serving size is small and it is easier to swallow than previous products. ◎Nanocapsules improve the effectiveness of the raw ingredients. Some of the components are soluble in oil (lipophilic) and some are soluble in water (hydrophilic). We design our extraction technology taking into consideration particular properties of these components.
