Protection against acne in summer
As it is easy to sweat in summer, it is important to take the right precautions against acne. Acne is a skin symptom associated with small facial pores. Sebum is secreted from the sebaceous glands in the pores to keep the skin healthy. However, due to changes in the secreted amount of hormones, when more sebum is secreted, the oxidized sebum affects the pores and causes the horny layer in the sebum surface to become thicker and the pores to swell. This condition is generally known as white pimples. When propionibacterium acnes that keep the skin slightly acidic increase, it can cause inflammation and swelling of the pores known as red pimples. In summer when ultra-violet rays get stronger and the skin sweats more easily, secretion of sebum increases and pores get clogged more easily, so extra care is needed. To guard against acne in summer, the following measures are recommended. ■Washing the face twice a day. In order to remove dirty sebum, wash the face using a facial wash. ■Protection against ultra-violet rays. Sun umbrellas and sun sleeves help prevent damage to the skin caused by ultra-violet rays. ■Balanced diet. Avoid oily food and consume more vegetables. ■Stress relief. When stress builds up, it can cause abnormalities in the secretion of hormones. ■Keeping your hair tidy. When hair comes into contact with the face or chin, the skin gets irritated resulting in pimples. Visit a dermatologist Before red pimples occur, visiting a dermatologist can help to minimize scarring. (source: http://health.e-ninonino.com/?cid=36508)
