Meshimakobu (Meshima mushroom) is a mushroom parasitic on wild mulberry trees. In Japan, the mushroom is commonly called Meshimakobu because it has been collected on Meshima island in Nagasaki prefecture, Japan. Its scientific name is phellinus Linteus. Meshimakobu is difficult to cultivate artificially, and it is a very precious mushroom. This product uses pure domestic Meshimakobu extract powder in our original method, alcohol extract for several days, and further extract with hot water. Meshima mushroom contains the highest concentration of beta-glucans (the polysaccharides which determine the anti-tumor effects) among all the medicinal mushrooms found in Japan.
