CPL (Cyclic Poly Lactate) Smile
The word "lactic acid" is often associated with "fatigue substance" but the molecular structure of CPL (Cyclic Poly Lactate) is quite different from lactic acid. Lactic acid molecules are typically arranged in a straight chain, and are produced by the fermentation of sugar by lactic acid bacteria. CPL is a substance where the ends of this straight chain are linked together into a ring structure, so it has a completely different, three-dimensional function. When lactic acid cyclization and polymerization occur, its function becomes completely different from lactic acid itself. This product uses the polymerized ring-structured version of lactic acid, which is extracted from the raw ingredient "sugar beet". CPL was discovered over 20 years ago. In order to use CPL itself as a food product, mass production of the sugar beet would have been necessary, so we (Yuuko-Enterprise Corp.) spent 10 years to develop a synthetic method to produce it artificially. These 10 years, between the time of discovery and when the artificial synthesis became possible, were called "the search period of CPL". The next 10 years were called "the inspection period of CPL" where we focused on researching the safety and efficacy of the product. Even after that, additional researches were conducted, adding to our current knowledge of the product. CPL has gone through serious product development for a long period of time, virtually unheard of for any other health food product. This product is made of low-molecular weight material (less than 2000 molar weight).
CPL is known for two essential effects:
- It kills abnormal cells (including cancerous ones) by blocking their energy production.
- It revitalizes normal cells by improving the supply of oxygen to them and consequently increasing the production of energy for them.
There are more than 100 types of cancerous cells and all of them have specific characteristics; but all of them have one thing in common: they produce energy through glycolysis, a process that requires no oxygen. CPL (cyclic polylactate) blocks the enzymes that are essential for producing energy for cancerous cells. As a result, cancerous cells cannot produce energy and self-destruct (apoptosis). Because CPL does not affect the enzymes essential for healthy cells, it causes apoptosis only in abnormal cancerous cells. Other discovered effects of CPL are the analgesic effect (pain relief) and the mitigation of anti-cancer drugs' side-effects through the revitalization of normal cells.
