While the delivery period (stated on the Japan Post website http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/service/dispatch/index_en.html) for this option is 1-3 months, it takes no longer than one month on average to deliver to developed countries. Similarly to "EMS" and "E-Packet", products shipped with "AIR", "SAL" and "SEA" are insured and have their tracking numbers. Lactoferrin Hard Capsules contains 200mg of lactoferrin per one capsule. This product contains no additives or preservatives. Lactoferrin is a type of milk protein and is contained in milk of all mammals. Lactoferrin is contained in considerable amounts during the first days after the childbirth and is needed to create the immune shield for the newborn. Ordinary commercial milk contains almost no lactoferrin in its active form because it underwent the thermal sterilization and lactoferrin is not heat-resistant.
