Okinawa Mozuku (Cladosiphon okamuranus tokida) seaweed is harvested and dried hygienically and responsibly in Okinawa (Miyako island), Japan. Almost 90% of dry mozuku is fucoidan (Fucoidan in raw mozuku is not purified and is tightly bonded to other polysaccharides, e.g., alginic acid. If you prefer purified fucoidan, please look for our fucoidan supplements). To improve mozuku fucoidan absorption, we recommend adding some vinegar to it after soaking it in water. After soaking in water, mozuku brown seaweed increases about five times in size.
How to use:
Take the necessary amount of dry mozuku seaweed and soak it for 20-40 minutes in water. Please change the water several times to remove the sea salt. Next, you can season it to your taste, and you can also use it in salads, soups, and bouillons.
