Kanehide Bio Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tsukuba, Tokyo, has developed a unique technology to extract fucoidan from mozuku seaweed utilizing citric acid (from lemons), and no toxic chemicals are used during the extraction process.
